Celebrating Afternoon Tea Week

👋 At Plough HQ we're celebrating Afternoon Tea Week (9-15 August 2021) with the launch of two new boxes, bursting with local produce.

The new Plough Afternoon Tea and Plough Kids Afternoon Tea are made with the finest produce from independent producers, farmers and even artists, perfectly packaged and delivered direct to your doorstep.

Designed with foodies in mind, Plough’s new hand curated boxes bring together a
handful of Plough’s partner producers from bakers, to pastry chefs, illustrators to
dairy farmers. An ideal foodie treat to enjoy as a family or with friends during the summer holidays.

The Kids Afternoon Tea combines moreish mini Kinder Hippo blondie and M&M
brownie baked by Ellie at Fig’s Bakery in Guildford. Little foodies can choose
whether the jam or cream goes first on their Fig’s Bakery scones, with raspberry jam hand stirred in the Surrey Hills and luxurious clotted cream from Dorking dairy
farmers, Libby’s Larder.

Sandwich slices are filled with sweet and savoury fillings from jam to cream cheese and Woking grown microgreens. There’s mini pick n’ mix packs from Jessica’s Jellies and marshmallows from Farnham based BonBoosh in retro Rhubarb and Custard.

Plough have commissioned a sweet sketch from talented Surrey illustrators
Wood&Ham for some little ones to enjoy some colouring in. It comes complete with colouring pencils and an envelope so little Picasso’s can gift their card to their nearest and dearest. If that’s not enough, there’s Sloane’s chocolate pearls for mixing up a mean milkshake or hot chocolate or Daily Dose cold pressed juice made with surplus wonky fruit and veg from British farms.

For big kids there’s the new Plough Afternoon Tea. Complete with bakewell blondie, chocolate-orange and triple chocolate brownie slices, lemon drizzle madeleines and golden scones, baked by pastry chef Ellie from her home in Guildford.

Clotted cream and jam from Surrey producers make the sweetest scone fillings.

Fig’s Bakery Sandwich slices are filled with Cacklebean eggs and Eden Greens microgreens, Three Lights Smokehouse Oak Smoked Salmon, Waterloo cheese & Jampacked chutney and more.

There’s English Breakfast Tea from Surrey boutique tea company The Lawn Tea and for a special occasion, there’s the option to order with prosecco handpicked by Chobham’s independent wine merchants’ The Surrey Wine Cellar.
